Identity

Modified GRF (1-29) is a stabilized analogue of the active 29-amino-acid fragment of growth hormone-releasing hormone. Commercial pages often call it CJC-1295 no DAC, but that label can blur its distinction from albumin-binding CJC-1295 with DAC.

Mechanism

It acts at the GHRH receptor upstream of pituitary GH release and lacks the drug affinity complex used to extend albumin binding. Multi-day pharmacokinetic findings for CJC-1295 DAC therefore cannot be assigned to no-DAC material.

Evidence Boundary

Human research supports GHRH physiology, but dedicated outcome trials for products marketed under the no-DAC name are sparse. Endocrine activity does not establish durable body-composition, functional, disease or aging outcomes.

Regulatory and Sport Status

No Modified GRF (1-29) product is FDA approved for general wellness, bodybuilding, recovery or weight loss. WADA prohibits growth hormone-releasing factors.

Evidence Gaps

  • No approved therapeutic indication.
  • No direct clinical outcome comparison with CJC-1295 DAC.
  • Limited long-term safety and product-quality data.
